~The Centered Chiropractic Difference~
Our bodies have the incredible ability to know what's best and to protect and heal from within. In today's world, we are overexposed to physical, emotional and chemical stress, leaving us in a weakened state and unable to recover naturally. Chiropractic care helps to bring the full power and function back to the body so it can do what it is meant to do-- heal.
Why is care at Centered Chiropractic different?
At Centered Chiropractic we like to focus on more than just the spine. Dr. Shaina uses a specific method of analysis that looks at the body as a whole and is able to help remove the tension that hinders the body from functioning at its best. She primarily uses Sacro-Occipital Technic or SOT Methods® for her analysis and treatment. Her approach is from the bottom up, and focuses on the extremities, the spine, the organ system, and the cranium.
Care for the Whole Family

Sacro-Occipital Technic focuses on the occiput, which is the the base of the skull, and the sacrum, which is the foundation of the pelvis. The technique focuses on the relationship between the two and how relieving tension throughout the body can help it function at its best. SOT Methods® uses gentle adjusting with sacral blocks to let gravity help the body naturally unwind.
